L’Association Syndrome de Lynch France regroupe des familles confrontées à la maladie et attentives à l’évolution des connaissances qui s’y rapportent. Créée en 1999 (parution au Journal Officiel du 23 Octobre 1999) l’association est régie par la loi du Ier juillet 1901 et le décret du 16 août 1901.
Il y a 25 ans, le syndrome de Lynch était encore peu connu du grand public et même du milieu médical.
Le Dr Sylviane Olschwang, alors chercheuse INSERM à l’hôpital Saint Antoine de Paris a réuni des familles concernées par le syndrome de Lynch et leur a suggéré de créer une association sur le modèle d’autres associations confrontées à une maladie génétique.
Quelques personnes emmenées par Diane Julhiet ont relevé le défi, et c’est ainsi que le 23 octobre 1999, la préfecture de Paris a enregistré la création de notre association.
L’Association fonctionne en étroite collaboration avec la communauté scientifique, les services d’oncogénétique ainsi que les équipes de recherche. Elle s’appuie sur son Conseil Scientifique et les services d’oncogénétique pour relayer une information de qualité et à jour sur le dépistage, le suivi et la prise en charge des personnes porteuses du syndrome de Lynch.
Le Conseil Scientifiques est composé de médecins spécialistes bénévoles qui travaillent en CHU partout en France.
Les membres du Bureau bénévoles œuvrent en étroite collaboration avec les services d’oncogénétique et les équipes de recherche pour promouvoir et diffuser les avancées médicales
Lorsque des demandes d’ordre médical sont faites à l’association via son site internet (contact@syndrome-de-lynch.fr), nous transmettons systématiquement ces messages à un membre du conseil scientifique qui traite directement et spécifiquement chaque demande.
